The Miss Burkina North America Organization is a U.S.–registered non-profit founded by passionate Burkinabè committed to sharing the richness of our culture while actively contributing to the development of Burkina Faso. We serve as a bridge between tradition and progress — honoring our heritage while creating opportunities that uplift lives both in North America and back home.
Our Mission
Our mission is to promote and celebrate Burkinabè culture in North America while investing in education, empowerment, and leadership development. We believe lasting change begins with action — creating opportunities where they are needed most and inspiring the next generation to rise and lead. Through initiatives like the Miss Burkina North America Pageant, we elevate cultural pride, build meaningful connections, and transform creativity into impact.
Our Achievements
Since our creation, we have:
Brought the Burkinabè community together across North America, creating spaces of celebration, unity, and cultural pride.
Organized the Miss Burkina North America Pageant as a platform for advocacy and empowerment, enabling participants to champion social causes and inspire change.
Funded and supported education programs from tuition assistance to providing essential school supplies for under-resourced students.
Led humanitarian outreach to support families and young people in Burkina Faso, promoting opportunity and hope where it’s needed most.
Launched cultural festivals and artistic showcases to preserve and celebrate Burkinabè heritage while connecting the diaspora with its roots.
Built partnerships with local and international organizations to amplify resources and expand the reach of our mission.
Earned recognition from the Embassy of Burkina Faso in the U.S. and been featured by international media for advancing education, culture, and empowerment.
